Kingswood Park offers peaceful walking trails and towering trees to enjoy while walking a dog or getting exercise. This former golf course is now a Signature Park for Deerfield Township. The park is also host to cyclocross and cross country athletic events.
Innovation Way runs through the park, dividing it into a southern and northern side. Visitors may cross to the north side at the round-a-bout or the dedicated crosswalk with island.
The south side of the park provides a parking lot that may be accessed off of Irwin Simpson Road. Features include a Community Pavilion with restrooms, pollinator gardens, community garden, seasonal Farmers Market, and paved walking trails.
The north side of the park boasts a pollinator entry garden, native prairie, ponds, and extensive walking paths that loop through heavily wooded areas. In 2020, the Township partnered with the Cincinnati Nature Center to install the Pollinator Pathway along the paved trail leading from the back of the Community Pavilion to the Innovation Way street crossing. A native plant entry garden was installed on the northern side to welcome visitors and lead them toward a native prairie garden. The prairie installation was completed in May 2021.
