For a schedule of book displays, please scroll down to the bottom of this page. Clicking on the book name will take you to more information on appropriate audience ages and book summaries. Please note that the schedule is approximate. (Books are rotated at the end of the month, based on staff availability.)
The Carter Park StoryWalk is a semi-permanent installation. Permanent sign holders were installed along the paved pathway. The signs are interchangeable so that books may be rotated. The StoryWalk starts behind the Quilt Barn just as the paved path enters the woods and leads toward the pond. View a map of the StoryWalk.
During the summer of 2015, Deerfield Township's 6th - 8th grade Taking Action Summer Camp installed the StoryWalk at Carter Park. We appreciate the hard work of all the youth who participated! They marked the post locations, installed the posts and signs, painted animal tracks on the pathway, and wrote verbiage for the second StoryWalk signs.
