This is a partial and summarized list of park rules adopted under Resolution 2008-82: Adopting Park Rules.
1. Deerfield Township parks are open from dawn until dusk.
2. Use, sale, or possession of alcohol is prohibited.
3. No solicitation.
4. Parking is permitted in designated areas only.
5. The speed limit is 15 mph.
6. All trash must be discarded in appropriate trash receptacles.
7. Dogs must be on a leash, unless in the designated dog park area at Schappacher Park.
8. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
9. “Catch-and-Release” fishing is permitted in the pond. A State of Ohio fishing license is required for ages 16 - 65.
10. Fires must be contained to grills and are permitted for cooking purposes only.
11. Organized sports require a permit for field use.
12. The Snyder House at Cottell Park may be reserved for private gatherings.
